Working with notions of personhood and individual ontology, the subject matters of Eva’s “A Little is Good” are her immediate surroundings. In this environment, traces and textures account for her being, while the inclination of these surfaces to change are measures of her existence. The selection of objects in her series are ‘everyday’, but they are also evidence, tying their being to a unique existence in time and in the photographer’s personal history.
